About the Foundation
KABANC Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization affiliated with Korean American Bar Association of Northern California. The Foundation is dedicated to improving access to legal services and providing educational opportunities to the Korean community and the general public. Through voluntary donations, the Foundation is designed to fund pro-bono clinics, award scholarships to qualified law students, and support an array of educational and community outreach programs. Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
Bar Study Scholarship
KABANC is currently seeking donations to the Bar Study Scholarship. This year, the fund will be used to support and award graduating law students to help defray the cost of taking the California Bar Exam.
The scholarships will be open to Bay Area law students with financial need and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and service to disadvantaged and underserved communities. The number of scholarships awarded, as well as the amount awarded, will be determined solely by the KABANC Foundation.
