ABA Commission & MCCA Survey on Lawyer Workplace Experience

The American Bar Association Commission on Women in the Profession (Commission) and the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) invite you to participate in a survey designed to measure lawyers’ experiences in the workplace.  This is a survey targeting ALL demographic groups.  We are looking to hear from BOTH men and women of ALL racial and ethnic groups, differing sexual orientations and gender identities, and disabilities.

KABANC FOUNDATION’S 2016 BAR STUDY SCHOLARSHIP

APPLICATION DEADLINE: August 5, 2016

The Korean American Bar Association of Northern California (KABANC) is pleased to announce the 2016 Bar Study Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded by the KABANC Foundation to a qualified class of 2016 or 2017 law student or graduate from a law school in Northern California planning to take the July 2016, February 2017, or July 2017 California Bar Examination. The scholarship amount will be up to $3,000.

CELA 5th Annual Diversity Leadership Summit

Please join the California Employment Lawyers Association's 5th Annual Diversity Leadership Summit on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at UC Hastings from 9:30am-2:45pm.

The Summit is a program attended by plaintiff and defense attorneys as well as judges, non-profits orgs, government employees, and law students. The event focuses on expanding diversity in leadership in the employment bar and is a great opportunity for networking.
