PG&E 2016 1L Summer Diversity Pipeline Internship Program

PG&E is announcing their 2016 Summer Diversity Pipeline Internship Program. This program provides first year law students with an opportunity to experience PG&E's multifaceted legal practice, interact with attorneys from various law firms, network with former and current Diversity Pipeline Program interns, and participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Law School Mentoring Program.

Korean American Bar Association of Northern California Urges Action Against Visa Waiver Program Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015

The Korean American Bar Association of Northern California (KABANC) expresses serious concerns about the hastily-introduced Visa Waiver Program Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015, H.R. 158, and urges Congress to reject the bill in its current form.

CIArb Conference - Resolving Disputes with Companies from Asia: What is the Best Approach?

The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, North America Branch, presents "Resolving Disputes with Companies from Asia: What is the Best Approach?", an Asia-focused international arbitration conference, at UC Hasting's Alumni Reception Center on January 22, 2016. The conference will feature ten leading arbitration practitioners from all over Asia, including EY Park from Kim & Chang, and Ben Hughes, who is now an independent arbitrator and Associate Professor at SNU Law School.

The Korean American Senior Center (officially Korean American Senior Services, Inc.) in San Francisco is seeking volunteers! KASSI has been around for 43 years and is the only organization exclusively dedicated to serving Korean seniors in San Francisco. The center is run by a very dedicated and hardworking group of volunteers, all seniors themselves. If you have some time to give during the busy holiday season, please let us know.
